During the fall of 1997 a Prophetic Word was spoken over our Pastors that they would start and Pastor a Unique Fellowship, that would reach all nations. As the years past they kept the vision alive and prepared themselves for the work our Lord had instore. Soon after the Lord gave them the name of our fellowship "NEW FOUNDATION."
Pastor Thomas Whitehead, or as we know him, Pastor Jabowa, brings a wealth of expereince in the field of ministry. He began playing piano for worship service at the age of 11. He began teaching "Childrens Church" at the age of 13. Later Pastor Jabowa recieved his Mission Workers license at the age of 16 and began speaking for various churches during this time. These churches included, but were not limited to: the Pentecostal Holiness Church, the Free Holiness Church, and the Pentecostal Church of God.
Pastor Jabowa has continually been involved in some type of church leadership; including the position pianist for Stanfield Pentecostal Holiness Church and Alive Church in Richmond VA. During his teeenage years he was very active in Home Missions on the Gila River Indian Reservation. He was the Worship Director at Bethel Chapel, in Maricopa, Arizona and in 2004, Pastor Jabowa was installed as Deacon of a local assembly in the Phoenix, Arizona area. In January/February 2005, he recieved Ordination through 2 International Christian organizations.
In May of 2005 Pastor Jabowa announced the formation of our fellowship which began in the living room of a East Phoenix home that has brought us to the move of God we experience today.
Associate Pastor Juan Morales Brings a wealth of knowledge to our fellowship. He is a dynamic teacher and has a great understanding of both the Old and New Testament. Pastor Juan had his start in ministry teaching home Bible study. He has been involved in leading Intercessory Prayer Ministry since 2003, where the Lord began to develop his call that lead him to the postition of Associate Pastor fo our fellowship. He was Ordained into the ministry in August of 2005. He is currently the head of our fellowship's Wednesday night Bible study/service and leads our intercessory pray group. Vision
The Lord is brining to pass the vision that He has given our pastors; to start "A Radically Inclusive Interdenominational Church, for ALL." The term interdemoninational was a major part of God's plan for this body of believers. Our Pastors proclaim "The dividing lines are now broken and God's people are coming together to proclaim that Jesus is LORD! We have laid aside the demoninational doctorines which have long divided God's people and have chosen the Bible as our source of guidance. We believe there are truths in many Christian demoninations, however, truth is continually being revealed through the Holy Spirit and can not be contained in one denomination nor one period of time."
NEW FOUNDATION CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP is a result of our obedience to God's plan. Our pastor delivers a message of hope for ALL and states that "no matter who you are, or where you come from, or where you are on life's jorney, you are welcome here!"
